Panna Tiger Reserve
Introduction
Panna Tiger Reserve, located in Madhya Pradesh, is renowned for its remarkable tiger conservation success story. Once on the verge of losing its entire tiger population, the reserve has bounced back with a successful reintroduction program, making it one of India’s leading tiger habitats today. Besides tigers, Panna is home to leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds. The picturesque Ken River flows through the park, adding to its scenic beauty. Panna is also rich in history, with nearby attractions like the Khajuraho temples, making it a perfect blend of wildlife and cultural exploration.
