Day 1 : Arrival in Nagpur & Transfer to Pench

Morning :

• Arrive at Nagpur airport, where your private vehicle and driver will greet you.
• Drive to Pench Tiger Reserve (approximately 2 hours away).
• Check-in at your lodge in Pench and freshen up.

Afternoon :

• Enjoy a leisurely lunch and explore your surroundings. Most lodges offer nature walks or birdwatching opportunities in the nearby areas.

Evening :

• Safari 1 (Turia Zone): Begin your wildlife adventure with an evening safari in Pench’s Turia zone. Look out for tigers, leopards, wild dogs, and various deer species.
• Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening by the campfire.

Day 2 : Morning & Afternoon Safaris in Pench

Morning :

• Safari 2 (Karmajhiri Zone): Set off early for a morning safari in the peaceful Karmajhiri zone of Pench, known for its tiger sightings and lush forests.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time.

Afternoon :

• Safari 3 (Turia Zone): Head out for an afternoon safari in the Turia zone, a prime area for wildlife activity, especially big cats and wild dogs.
• After the safari, relax at the lodge and enjoy a quiet dinner.

Day 3 : Transfer to Kanha & Afternoon Safari

Morning :

• Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your Pench lodge before checking out.
• Your private vehicle will drive you to Kanha Tiger Reserve, a 3.5 to 4-hour scenic drive through Madhya Pradesh’s beautiful landscapes.

Afternoon :

• Check in to your lodge in Kanha and enjoy lunch.
• Safari 4 (Kanha Zone): Begin your Kanha adventure with an afternoon safari in the Kanha zone, known for its open meadows and high tiger density. The park is also home to barasingha (swamp deer), leopards, and a variety of birdlife.
• Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4 : Full Day of Safaris in Kanha

Morning :

• Safari 5 (Mukki Zone): Head out early for a morning safari in the Mukki zone, another well-known area for tiger sightings. This zone offers great opportunities to spot not only tigers but also sloth bears, wild dogs, and other wildlife.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast and leisure time.

Afternoon :

• Safari 6 (Kanha Zone): In the afternoon, explore more of the Kanha zone, focusing on different areas for a chance to spot more wildlife.
• After the safari, unwind at the lodge and enjoy dinner by the bonfire.

Day 5 : Morning Safari & Return to Nagpur

Morning :

• Optional Safari: If your schedule permits, you may opt for one final morning safari (this can be pre-arranged) to increase your chances of seeing the elusive tiger.
• After the safari, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out.

Late Morning/Early Afternoon :

• Drive back to Nagpur (approximately 4 hours).
• Your vehicle will drop you at Nagpur airport for your onward journey.

• Safari Timing : Morning safaris usually start around 6:00 AM and finish by 10:00 AM. Afternoon safaris run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Safari Bookings : Book your safaris well in advance, especially for Kanha, as it’s one of the most popular reserves in India.
• What to Pack : Bring layers of clothing as mornings and evenings can be chilly, especially during winter. Don’t forget your camera, binoculars, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat for sun protection.
