Day 2 : Two Safaris

• 5:30 AM : Early morning wake-up call with tea/coffee.
• 6:00 AM : Head out for your second safari. The cool morning hours offer great opportunities to see active wildlife.
• 10:00 AM : Return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation time.
• 1:00 PM : Have lunch and prepare for your afternoon safari.

Day 3 : Safaris and Ganesh Mandir Visit

• 6:00 AM : Fourth safari – this time in Zone 3. After exploring the wildlife, take a brief visit to the famous Ganesh Mandir located within this zone. The temple is a spiritual highlight amidst the wilderness.
• 10:00 AM : Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
• 1:00 PM : Lunch at the lodge.

Day 4: Final Safari and Departure

By Train : The nearest railway station is **Sawai Madhopur Junction**, which is well-connected to major cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Kota. The station is just 10 kilometers from Ranthambhore, and taxis are readily available for the short drive to your lodge or the park entrance.

By Road : Ranthambhore is well-connected by road. You can drive or hire a taxi from nearby cities like Jaipur (160 km), Delhi (390 km), and  Agra (260 km). Regular buses also operate from Jaipur and other nearby cities to Sawai Madhopur.

Best season to visit

The best season to visit Ranthambhore is from October to April, when the weather is pleasant and wildlife sightings are most frequent. During this period, the dry conditions force animals, including the elusive Bengal tiger, to frequent water sources, making them easier to spot on safaris. The cooler months from November to February are especially ideal, offering comfortable temperatures and vibrant landscapes. However, for those seeking the most dramatic wildlife experiences, March and April can also be excellent as the summer heat intensifies, driving more animals to waterholes.
